Hibiscus syriacus 'Gandini Santiago' PP25568
The Purple Pillar® Rose of Sharon is truly one-of-a-kind! Unlike traditional rose of Sharon, it grows in a narrow, column-like shape rather than spreading wide. Reaching only 4-5' in width and 10-16' tall, it's perfect for tight spaces like screens, hedges, or patio containers. If you need some privacy or color in a small area, this plant is an ideal choice. It thrives in full sun and is hardy to USDA Zone 5. In summer, the entire length of each stem is covered in vibrant purple blooms. Its unique shape makes it a space-saver, so even if you thought you didn’t have room for a rose of Sharon, the Purple Pillar is perfect. It works beautifully in containers, flanking a front door, or as a quirky accent in your landscape.
